The Brief

Paramount Power has been engaged by Hoskins Contracting to deliver a comprehensive electrical, lighting, communications and specialist systems upgrade for the historic Redemptorist Monastery and Church in North Perth.

The project involves integrating modern electrical infrastructure throughout the church and monastery while protecting the character and architectural features of the heritage-listed site.

Deliver general lighting and power, Casambi lighting controls, emergency and exit lighting, switchboards and electrical distribution systems.

Install communications and fibre infrastructure, data services and AV provisions while coordinating specialist electrical requirements.

Integrate modern services carefully throughout the existing buildings while preserving the site’s architectural character and heritage features.

Our Approach

Paramount Power is working closely with Hoskins Contracting, consultants and other trades to deliver a carefully coordinated solution suited to the complexities of the existing heritage buildings.

New electrical services are being thoughtfully integrated to minimise their visual impact while meeting modern safety, performance and compliance requirements. Particular attention is being given to feature and pendant lighting to complement the architecture and highlight the church’s heritage details.

The works also involve major upgrades to the site’s electrical distribution system, including a new main switchboard and underground services. Through careful planning and staged delivery, the team is continuing to manage existing site conditions while progressing the installation efficiently and preserving the integrity of this significant North Perth landmark.
