The Brief

Paramount Power was initially engaged to deliver the base build electrical installation for the large-format retail complex. During the project, we were subsequently awarded multiple tenancy fitouts, including Rebel, Red Dot, Adairs, and Bed Shed.

The addition of these fitouts introduced a significant increase in complexity, requiring accelerated procurement, tighter programme delivery, and coordination across multiple stakeholders. Each tenancy brought its own specifications, lighting suppliers, and design requirements, effectively multiplying the level of coordination required on site. Despite these constraints, all tenancies were delivered in line with the centre opening date, with minimal defects.

Our Approach

Paramount Power implemented a highly organised, adaptable delivery approach, scaling resources to manage both base build and tenancy fitout works concurrently. We maintained close communication with the builder, tenants, and suppliers to meet every specification while keeping the overall programme on track. Our team took a proactive role in procurement and coordination, anticipating potential delays and resolving issues early. The end result was the successful delivery of a complete electrical package, including base building infrastructure and multiple high-quality tenancy fitouts.

The Results

The project was delivered in line with the centre’s opening deadline, with all tenancies completed and operational on time. Managing both base build and multiple fitouts within a compressed timeframe demonstrated our ability to handle complex, fast-paced retail developments. The project was completed to a high standard with minimal defects and strong coordination across all stakeholders, contributing to a smooth handover and a successful centre launch.
